IRDC

Two weeks until IRDC. Two weeks! Holy shnikeys. This is what my current "to do" list looks like, although I find myself adding to it every 4 seconds or so:

• Choose speaker gifts. (Just finished that one, actually. One word, you lucky speakers: Yum.)
• Prepare all speeches/session intros I'm responsible for. 
• Review all speaker presentations; make sure all are present and accounted for.
• Proof and approve all on-site signage.
• Hold breath for inevitable last-minute snags with speakers. (Exhale occasionally; repeat until Sept. 25.)
• Pray that delivery guy decides to bring mannequins before Iron Merchant, to avoid a last-ditch scavenger hunt through the streets of Dallas pre-session. (Thank you, last year's IRDC in Seattle, for that lovely lesson in improvisation.) 
• Schedule pre-event pedicure.
• Schedule post-event massage.
