Michael Bodziner, a principal of Gensler, directs the Retail Design and Store Planning Studio in San Francisco, where he and his team specialize in brand invention and its application to the retail customer experience. He co-founded Gensler’s retail practice shortly after joining the firm in 1985 and also serves as director of Gensler’s Retail Task Force, a worldwide collective of designers, architects and strategists who research retail’s interrelation with society, economy and human emotional response.
