All IRDC 2009 events will be held at The Adolphus, the only Mobil 4-Star rated hotel in downtown Dallas. This baroque masterpiece opened in 1912 and has welcomed a long list of famous guests, including Queen Elizabeth II, Oscar de la Renta, U2 and Donald Trump. The Adolphus is just steps from another historic treasure, the Neiman Marcus flagship and its sixth-floor, hot-pink dining institution, The Zodiac.

We’ve reserved a limited room block at The Adolphus for IRDC attendees, at the discounted rate of $194 per night (15% off the lowest available online rate), plus taxes and fees. This rate is applicable September 20-28, based on availability, for extended stays.

UPDATE: As of 7.24.09, the IRDC rate is reduced to $169 per night. Same dates, event code, taxes and fees apply.

Space is limited; early booking is recommended. Reservation cut-off is August 23, 2009.

NOTE: A deposit equal to one night’s room and tax is due with each reservation request on or before August 23, 2009, and will become non-refundable if the guest does not arrive or cancels less than three days (72 hours) prior to the day of arrival.

AIRFARE DISCOUNT

Flying to the conference? Take advantage of reduced airfares with American Airlines, valid September 20-28, for your trip to Dallas. Use IRDC Promotion Code 8499AH and you’ll receive a 5% discount off the lowest applicable eligible published fare.

The percentage discount can be booked online for American Airlines and American Eagle flights only. At this time there is no ticketing fee for reservations made and ticketed booked online.

GROUND TRANSPORTATION

The Adolphus is approximately 18 miles/25 minutes from Dallas/Ft. Worth International Airport, and 7 miles/15 minutes from Dallas Love Field Airport. Methods of transport include sedan or limo service, rental car, SuperShuttle, and taxi cabs.
